Since 1992, the European Centre for Culture and Information in Thuringia (Europäisches Kultur- und Informationszentrum in Thüringen, EKT) has published the magazine
“VIA REGIA – Pages for international cultural communication”
(VIA REGIA – Blätter für internationale kulturelle Kommunikation)
In those magazins - each consists of about 100 pages – contributions on the cultural and social development of Europe, on history, literary texts and feuilletons are published often by international renoened authors. Original illustrations by the Thuringian artists Carsten Weitzmann und Michael Geyersbach as well as an ambitious graphic design turn the magazins into collector’s items.
An increasing demand for single magazins and themes induced us to present the articles.
Since august 2002 the magazins have been published in irregular time-lags. After concentrating on online-publishing the print-publication of the magazins has been stopped in 2004.
